Grace & Gratitude

Your obedience to God is an act of gratitude for His gifts of grace!

Receive grace, live grace, give grace - repeat

G.R.A.C.E. - God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense - Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved thru faith. And this is not by your own doing - it is the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast”

I like to think that gratitude and grace are like two hands working together. Grace is the power, beauty, and love of God that is always around us and gratitude gives us the eyes to see it all.

Gratitude is a super-power in a sense.  I see gratitude as a positive emotion that behaves like a magnet. A magnet attracts and draws things to you. Having a heart of gratitude for all the good around you leads you to attract more “good” in your life.

Life's journey is never totally smooth. We all will encounter mountains and valleys along the way, but in the hard climb up the mountain or the difficult descent into the valley, we learn life's lessons and become stronger in character. Be grateful for the challenges you face because they help you grow, understand more clearly, they soften your heart, and they give you strength, compassion and empathy towards others.

I have found in my life that it is vital to start my day with thankfulness.  That can mean writing in my gratitude journal, reading my morning devotional, placing something in my gratitude jar, meditation or giving back.

When we say thank you, we open our eyes to all the miracles around us.
