1. Host a cookie bake-off – we are having our bake off this year with my sister and her girls and we cannot wait – we decided we’d share our stash with our neighbors and have purchased cute cookie tins to spread Christmas cheer
2. Wear matching family pjs! They are so much easier to find these days! Old Navy, Carters, Target and Kohls all have a Holiday jammie statement.
3. Watch your favorite holiday movie – for me it is This Christmas, Elf, Christmas Vacation and I can’t forget Rudolph and The Grinch!
4. Drive thru your neighborhood to see the light displays
5. Open one special present on Christmas eve
6. Plant Santa’s footprints in your home or in your driveway or walkway – especially if you have littles!
7. Give each child an annual ornament
8. If you buy a live tree get it from a tree farm and participate in the seasonal activities
9. Record a year in review
10. Leave Santa a late night snack (and the reindeer too)
11. Take a themed family photo
12. Read T’was the night before Christmas sometime before Christmas Day!
